These are both refrigerant-based systems, and they’re well-known for good reason—they’re versatile and reliable.
But these aren’t the only types of air conditioners around. A lesser known but surprisingly effective system is the evaporative cooler, also known as the swamp cooler. However, it’s not for everyone. In this post, we’ll explain what makes a swamp cooler work for some and not for others.
